L.A.W. Camp for Teens

July 18 – July 21, 2017

Camp Description

L.A.W. Camp for Teens provides an opportunity for New Haven high school students to learn about the law and the legal profession from attorneys and judges of the New Haven County Bar Association. Through classroom instruction, panel discussions and visits to law firms and courtrooms, the campers will learn how to prepare a mock trial, which they will present before a United States Magistrates Judge from the District of Connecticut.

All materials, as well as, breakfast and lunch are provided but transportation to and from Camp each day is the responsibility of the campers. The Camp runs from 8:30am to 5:00pm each day.

L.A.W. Camp for Teens is free of charge and is open to teens who live in the Greater New Haven area.

High school students interested in attending need to complete the application and media release and return it to the New Haven County Bar Association at P.O. Box 1441, New Haven, CT 06506 by June 16, 2017.
