Joining the NHCBA

Membership in the NHCBA is open to any attorney who is a member in good standing of the Bar of the State of Connecticut or any other jurisdiction. 

In addition, the association welcomes those persons who qualify for Associate Member status: a law student enrolled in an American Bar Association ("ABA") accredited law school; a teacher or professor of law at an ABA accredited law school; a law clerk in a federal or Connecticut Superior court; and a legal administrator, legal librarian or paralegal/legal assistant who is employed by a law office, including a corporate legal department, a government, judicial or legal agency, or any other entity devoted primarily to the practice of law. Associate members CANNOT join online. They must send a copy of the application, downloadable below, to the NHCBA office for consideration.
