Social Events NHCBA members are invited to all our annual social events, which are great for networking and meeting new attorneys, judges, and other members of our legal community. NHCBA members always pay a discounted member price per event:
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminars NHCBA members may participate in our CLE seminars online & in-person free of charge.
Carolyn Breen Witt Lawyers' Lounge The Lawyers' Lounge in the New Haven Superior Court on Church Street is free and open to all current members of the NHCBA. Please take note that the lounge is for members only, and not for clients or personal meetings. The code will be updated each membership year and shared with current members. If you have not received the code, please email NHCBAinfo@newhavenbar.org.
Marble Columns Newsletter NHCBA members will receive a copy of our Marble Columns newsletter three times a year, which highlights bar activities, members, news from the New Haven area courts, and other features to entertain and inform member readers.
Weekly Email Newsletter Upon registration, NHCBA members will automatically be enrolled in the weekly email newsletter to stay up to date with our latest news, announcements, and upcoming events.
Committees NHCBA members may join one or more of the NHCBA’s many committees which help plan and implement the NHCBA’s various programs and activities.
Lawyer Referral Service NHCBA member attorneys may join the association’s internal referral service here for a yearly membership fee of only $95 & a 15% remittance fee per case. This service is beneficial to new attorneys, sole practitioners, and small law firms seeing new clientele. Please note, non-NHCBA members pay a higher yearly membership fee of $285.
Classified Ads Each issue of the Marble Columns newsletter contains a classified advertising section which reaches hundreds of readers in the Greater New Haven legal community. These ads cover areas such as positions available, office space, and items for sale. Email Cindy at cmartin@newhavenbar.org for more information and deadlines.
